My sincerest condolences to Astrid, Kelsey, Jessika and the rest of Laframboise family. Please find comfort in your memories of him. I met Mike through a mutual friend when he worked at his father's gas station in Kanata. He was a friendly, kind and funny man who was a blast to hang out with. Mikey (aka Duke), may you rest in eternal peace.

Our deepest condolences to everyone. We lived next door to Astrid, Michel (Mike), Jessika and Kelsey for 20+ years, we knew them as great friends and neighbours.
One of the things we noticed right away upon moving in was that Michel loved to barbacue, just about anything too. He was the best at it. When the wind blew just right, we'd all get very hungry at our place.
Thanks for inviting us to the memorial service, it was nice to see everyone there and all the people that Michel managed to touch.

My deepest condolences to the entire Laframboise family and Michel's dearest friends. Although I only knew Michel through the petroleum industry and never actually worked directly with Michel, we had always kept in touch over the years and I thought of him as a colleague. He was an extremely genuine person, and will be missed. All my best! Marc-Andre Stanford

I was lucky to know Michel as my territory manager at MacEwen. His kind words and easy going attitude towards everything made him a joy to work with even on the most difficult of days. I truly enjoyed our talks about family and of classic cars.
My heart felt condolences for the loss of such a kind hearted man.

Dear Astrid, Jessie, Kelsey and extended family,
May you find comfort in the days ahead of your memories of a wonderful husband, devoted and proud father, and protective brother.
It was our privilege to know Michel. We will remember him as someone who was always kind with his words, had deep care and compassion for others, loved a glass of wine (or two), enjoyed preparing and hosting a BBQ (good Egg), showing us his dance moves under the stars, and setting the bar so high with the cleanest car and the most organized garage we have ever scene. Michel found courage to put his feet in the sand and ocean of the Caribbean to fulfil a lifetime dream. He also knew how to make the best of things in less-than-ideal circumstances… like the time we built a fort under the cabana on the beach to shelter us from the wind and rain (while we waiting for the sun to return).......so that we could continue to be soothed by the ocean waves and spend quality time together. Most importantly, Michel had boundless love for his wife and daughters.
Michel was a light to all who knew him.
We are heartbroken about his passing and thought we had more time. Taken far too soon……. we will miss his comforting voice, infectious smile and fond memories of so many happy times together.....rest in peace until we meet again my friend.
Kim and John Kearney

I was very fortunate to have been given the opportunity to meet such a man as Michel; He would give everything he could to help others. He helped myself quite tremendously at a time in my life where I wasn’t quite sure what was up or down. He took me in as one of his own, fed me, provided shelter and fun laughs. I’ll never forget any of the fun and kindness he showed me along with his family of course. In 2015, the Laframboise family went on their annual trip to Maine, USA and I was very fortunate enough to get the opportunity to go with. I had no money, yet he covered the cost entirely. I could not and still to this day cannot express how grateful I am. That was first time I got to swim in the ocean, eat lobster and oddly enough find my long lost favourite brand of chips. The lessons he instilled in myself still shine today. Pay it forward and help those that need it even when they may not voice it. Ultimately though, he allowed me to see the potential we all have inside us. My condolences to every single soul that weeps for this great man. A light that will never diminish.

A memorable song that we used to listen to while playing cards, eating some indescribably delicious food and dancing the night away with each other. Thank you to each and everyone of you. We carry the torch now by sharing the kindness that he instilled in all of us <3
