Robert Greer

1937 – 2021

Robert Greer, 83 years young, Patriarch of Osgoode Sand and Gravel Ltd. passed away November 30, 2021 at his home, as was his wish. 

With his partner, Mary, by his side he peacefully ended years of declining health. He leaves behind his daughters, Sharon Chapman (Bill), Colleen Walker (Ron). Grandsons, Tyler Chapman (Laina), Wade Chapman, Jordan Walker (Julie) his great-grandchildren Adelyn and Charles and his former spouse Shirley Greer. Loving son of the late Chris and Marjorie Greer. Survived by brothers Cliff (Bonnie), Richard (Sandy) and sister Linda Maunders. Predeceased by brothers Jimmy and Dougie and sisters Barb Lough, Tilley Dodge, Catherine Ball and Margie Greer.

A huge thanks to Dr O’Connell for his kindness, compassion and care that extended to all.

A Memorial gathering will be held at Cole Funeral Services, 2500 Baseline Road, Ottawa on Saturday, December 11th, 2021 between 1pm - 4pm.  Those in attendance must provide proof of double vaccination.

A private interment will take place on Monday at Capital Memorial Gardens.

In lieu of flowers  donations to CHEO or Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
