I am so heartbroken to learn of Hilda's passing. Hilda was an incredible woman with a heart of gold; her joy and appreciation of so many simple things in life were both an inspiration and contagious...and she always had that little twinkle in her eye. :) Hilda was like a second mother to me, always welcoming me into her home if I was going to be in town. She was a very dear friend to me, and we could talk about anything. She was the woman that I would have had a weekly tea and chat with, if I lived nearby. I haven't seen or spoken with her this past year; I was lost in my own world after the passing of my brother, and I am deeply regretful of that.
To all of Hilda's family and friends; I am so sorry for your loss. Hilda definintely left a mark on the hearts of everyone who was lucky enough to have known her, and our memories of her will be forever cherished.
