I met Kwesi many years ago through my dear friend his cousin, Veronica Addae-Mensah, when she came to Ottawa for a visit. Kwesi and I didn't see each other much after that although we would chat every now and then on the phone. I moved to Lindsay, ON and one day I bumped into him with his guide dog at the airport in Amsterdam when we were both travelling to Ghana. This didn't happened just once but three times. The flight attendants would always arrange to have us sit next to each other. We got to explore the eating establishments at the airport during those "meetings".
I'll miss 'my travel companion". Rest in peace, Kwesi.

From Mrs Felicia Baffoe
Death has laid it's icy hand on my beloved husband. Hmm... I now understand what the good books say: There is time for everything under the sun.(Ecl 3:1).
Indeed everything we both shared has come to an end, and now it's time for me to mourn you because you left me at the time I needed you most.
Dad which i used to called him, I will like to tell you that, you shall forever be remembered because of your good deeds, also forever in my heart you were an advisor, my provider, a father and my everything.
In fact your death has rendered me helpless and lonely. Dad was a caring and loving husband who was humble, respectful, polite and never played with his time. He always wore smiles on his face and when asked about his health, he used to say I'm strong like a rock. The entire family have lost a great leader and peacemaker.
Hmmm... Dad may the almighty God keep you safely in His Bosom till we meet again.

Bro Baffoe as being called by legionnaires was a strong pillar behind the Legion of Mary in the Central Region. He loved Mother Mary Soo much that he devoted all his life, time, energy and resources both in kind and cash to the work and functions of the Legion of Mary. As a good soldier of Mary, he single handedly sponsored all members who loved to embark on legion functions no matter where it was being organized. He will personally call me, mame secretary, I have heard you are going for conference. How many are you? Then I will just give him the number and bro will immediately send us the amount of money involved. In fact, we legionnaires have lost a great and noble man. A man who was all in all to Legion of Mary. May the soul of bro Baffoe and the souls of all the faithful departed legionnaires rest in peace, Amen.

Dr Kwesi Baffoe was a very good man.I met him two years ago when I was not working through one of his nephews. I became his personal driver and there was no a single day he wouldn't ask of my wellbeing and that of my family. He was vey caring and compassionate. Even though he pays me well, he always made sure i had something to eat before leaving for my house. I have really lost a father and a mentor. Rest well daddy.
