After a happy 93 years Corinne Elain Godding (nee Taylor) died peacefully at the General Hospital on December 29, 2021. Corinne grew up with her sister Lorna (Christie) on Whitehill farm in what is now Alta Vista, and loved animals. She worked in the office of C.D.Howe during World War II. After the war, she married Clifford Godding and raised 4 children, Pamela (Morse), Richard, Gary, and Kimberley (Poulin). She first started taking art lessons while the family was living in Vancouver and became an avid and accomplished artist. In retirement, Cliff and Corinne enjoyed many winters at Maple Leaf Estates in Florida.
She will be remembered by her grandchildren, Douglas, Andrew, Alan, Katie (Jee), Graham (Morse), John (Morse), Alexander, Samuel, Torian (Poulin) and Tanner (Poulin). Corinne is also survived by her great grandchildren, Abigail, Rylan, Jack, Beau, Adelaide, Anna (Jee), Liam (Jee), Maggie (Jee), Amie (Morse), Kevin (Morse), and Landon (Poulin). Interment will take place at Pinecrest Cemetery on May 14, 2022.
