Evelyn & I met in 1987 while we both were working for the CF as civilians in Germany. We were both struggling to determine what our futures would hold for us. Ev's strength and clarity around what she wanted out of life was very inspiring for me. Upon returning to Canada, we stayed in and out of touch, but always just picked up our chats. In the past five years, we've grown closer - getting together every six weeks or so to discuss living with cancer, or denying it's existence while soaking in the hot tub or nestled on the couch eating treats. Ev - I am so grateful our paths crossed as often as they did. You taught me so much. I love you.
