Obituary of Kathleen Booth
Peacefully on October 14, 2022, Kate passed to her eternal rest. Loving spouse of the late Graham Booth. Fondly remembered by Son Colin and Daughter-in-law Lisa. Beloved Sister to William (the late Elizabeth), Ethel (the late Stuart), and Sister-in-law to the late Joan and William. Kind Aunt to Peter (Vivienne), Emma (Matthew), Elizabeth (the late Stanley), the late Derek (Alexandra), and Jennifer (Gordon). Great Aunt to Charlotte, Hannah, Caitlin, Olivia Jane, Andrew (Kelsey), Jake and Anne. Great-Great Aunt to Rowan.
Spirited and loyal with an unyielding commitment to family and friends whom she supported and loved. Generous. An adventurer who lived without surrender. She will be sadly missed by family and friends in England, Northern Ireland, Europe, and Australia, as well as in Ottawa, Toronto and Vancouver. May the Blue Hills of Antrim and those who have gone before welcome Kate home to her final rest.
The family wishes to profoundly thank the many expert and devoted health care professionals involved in Kate’s wellbeing at the Queensway Carleton Hospital and at each campus of The Ottawa Hospital. Thank you to the nursing and hospitality teams at the Red Oak Retirement Residence who helped make her suite a wonderful home.
Private service in accordance with the Book of Common Prayer in the chapel at Pinecrest Cemetery, Ottawa. In lieu of flowers, donations to The Ottawa Hospital Foundation – Schlossmacher Lab would be well received.
