Dear Family, I remember Elyse and her sisters from my time as the teacher librarian at Elmdale PS. All for of the girls were bright, kind and enjoyed reading books! Coming to the library was a joyful time. I am so saddened to read this. It has only been brought to my attention…I am sorry that I am a year late in sending you this message.

My heart goes out to all of Elyse's family. All of us here at McGill are absolutely heartbroken. I met Elyse many years ago in one of McGill's Leadership programs. We were grouped together and we hit it off as classmates right from the get go. She was so approachable, warm, kind, smart and probably made me a giggle a little too much when I was supposed to be paying attention to the teacher. She really did light up a room. Her legacy and beauty (inside and out) will live on within baby Knox. Thinking of all of you. xo

Very sorry for her loss. Her friends and colleagues at McGill will miss her incredible spirit, creativity, can-do attitude, and overall sense of professionalism and collegiality.
