Obituary of Donald McNeice

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our dear father and grandfather Donald Galbraith McNeice in his 93rd year on November 13, 2022. Donald is survived by his beloved wife Greta Irene (nee Dixon), three children; Laurie, Gary and John and nine grandchildren; Jasmine, Jesse, Justine, Jake, James, William, Katherine, Haley and Jade. Donald is predeceased by his eldest daughter Donna, three siblings; Leonard, Jean and Gary and his parents; Leonard Garlbraith McNeice and Laura Louise McNeice (nee Smith).

 

Donald worked in education for 30 years as a high school science teacher; the greater part of his career at Gloucester High School in Ottawa, and after retirement in real estate at Rhodes & Company, with his wife Greta. He was an avid outdoorsman and woodworker. Don was a stalwart man who knew the meaning of responsibility. He was always there for family, especially his loving wife Greta, to whom he cared for at home for over ten years as she faced the onset of Alzheimers. Rest in peace dad. You will be dearly missed!
