Peacefully, Ana Delia passed away on February 12, 2023 surrounded by her family. She was predeceased by her loving husband of 55 years José Inés Morales. She is survived by her sons Vinicio Alessi, Howard Lynn (Rosa Mercedes), Alvin Geovanni (Sandra Graciela), and her daughters Yadira Yvette, Karla Loretty (Michael Bird), and Audrey Leslie (Taras Smetaniuk). She was a loving grandmother to Alessandra, Karla Denisse, Howard Alessi, and Valeria Isabella.
Ana Delia was known for her strength and generosity when it was most needed by family, extended family, friends, or others, but most of all she was known for the love of her family which she was proud of until her last breath. She was wise, funny when least expected, and truthful to the core. Her values never wavered and she took pride in instilling Christian values in her children. At a later stage in life, Ana Delia moved her family to Canada with her husband where she would become a proud Canadian citizen, wearing red and white on Canada Day and cheering on the Blue Jays at every opportunity. Until the last of her days, she worked on her English as she loved to communicate unassisted. Ana Delia enjoyed colouring many images of birds, flowers, and her most beloved creatures, butterflies.
The family would like to thank her nieces, nephews, extended family, friends, and last but not least all the care workers for all your love towards Mom while she graced us with her life. We will be forever grateful for your kindness towards her. Now she is resting with the Lord and reunited with her one love, "Chepe."
The family will celebrate her life in a private ceremony.
