To the family of Carrie Horton,
Please accept my deepest condolences on the passing of your beloved Mom, Gramma, and Great-Gramma. I have so many wonderful memories of Carrie -- Mrs. Horton when I was a wee one, having just met Wendy in Grade 2 at Severn Public School. Carrie's smile was bewitching, and I will never forget her laugh. And she laughed often, as I recall. My Dad used to travel on the bus to work with Carrie, and they would chat often. My favourite memory of Carrie includes Wendy, of course, and all I will say is that it involved the Horton cottage, a pickup truck, and..., toilet paper. Yes, you read that right; toilet paper. Whenever I saw Carrie or Wendy after that incident, all one of us would have to say are those two words, and the three of us would be in hysterics. If I listen very carefully, I think I can hear them both, all the way from heaven, having a good laugh...
