Obituary of Beryl Arnold (nee Moyes)

August 11th, 1930 - Calgary AB - March 13th, 2023 - Ottawa ON

After an extended period of substantial disability but thankfully only a few short weeks of suffering, Beryl left us on Monday morning March 13th at the age of 92. She is survived by her daughter Laura, granddaughter Chloé, and great grandchildren Mylo and April. She was predeceased by her husband Vernon and daughter Nancy. As the only daughter of the late James Moyes and Laura Jessie Grayston she was also predeceased by her very dear brothers James, Gerard, and Colin, but is survived by her amazing brother Donald Ian as well as a number of nieces and nephews. She will also be sadly missed by her devoted sister-in-law Marion.

Profound gratitude to the 4th floor staff of Embassy West Senior Living for their wonderful kindness, care, and attention to Beryl throughout the last 2.5 years. And everyone pronounced her name correctly - she appreciated that!

A Memorial Service in her honour and memory will be held at Cole Funeral Services & Pinecrest Remembrance, 2500 Baseline Road, Ottawa, on Friday, March 31, 2023 at 2:00 p.m.
