Obituary of Elvie Christine Betts

With her family by her side, our beloved Elvie Christine Betts passed away peacefully on 31^st March 2023.

Elvie was born 10^th August 1946 in England to Alfred and Florence Martin. She is survived by her loving husband Malcolm Betts; her children Claire, Katie (Guy)and Anthony (Abigail); and her grandchildren, Charlotte and Addelyn.

Though her passing caused great sorrow to her family and friends, the love she had was equal to the love she gave. Her love for animals, especially cats, motivated her to volunteer at the Ottawa Humane Society where she was a foster mum to many cats to help them find forever homes, including her own.

A Celebration of her Life will be held on Tuesday, April 4, 2023 between 2:00 pm and 4:00 pm at Pinecrest Reception Centre, 2500 Baseline Road. The family requests donations to the Ottawa Humane Society in lieu of flowers.
