Obituary of Amelia Obas

Amelia passed away peacefully with family at her side on Thursday, April 27, 2023 at the age of 90. 

 

She was very active in social gathering and participating in social activities. Amelia was fond of dressing Philippine traditional outfits. She gave us the joy of many of

her special recipes that everyone enjoyed at numerous family celebration. 

 

Amelia is survived by her sisters and brothers Cora ( Tom) Rick (Josie), Nick (Eve), Manny (Betty), Fred (Carol) Cynthia (Claude), Romeo and Jobie (Lorelie). 

 

She was predeceased by parents Delfin Sr (Dad) and Maura (Mamang) and brothers Felimon (Primy), Jun ( Gloria) Roberto (Cora) and sister Lydia (Tony). She will be lovingly remembered by all our wonderful family from across Canada, Philippines, US and Europe. 

 

Rest in peace Manay Mely.  You are loved and will be remembered dearly in our hearts forever.

 

Our family wish to extend a special thank you to all the staff of  Extendicare Medex. 

 

Inurnment and reception will follow after the memorial service.

 

In lieu of flowers, donations be made to the Canadian Cancer Society
