It was with great sadness that we learned of Bruno and Grazia's passing. We fondly remember the many wonderful times we spent with them in Sarasota, Florida. They were so much fun to be with and we would eat, laugh, drink some wine and have a wonderful time! We will dearly miss them.. But, we still have our memories. We shared our love of Italy and, when we got together, it gave us a chance to practice our Italian; Bruno and Grazia were so patient with us. They were our very favorite "snowbirds." We are certain they are looking down at us all from their cloud in heaven and hoping that we all will take pleasure during our time on this earth.
May you know the peace and comfort this heartfelt thought provides...the ones we love are never gone, they live on within our hearts.

Zia, riposa in pace

Deepest sympathies, Grazia was a beautiful soul who I had the pleasure of working with from time to time at the Alta Vista branch of the Ottawa Public Library. Once she found out that I was part-Italian, she patiently practiced Italian with me. Mille grazie Grazia, riposa in pace. Sincerely Dana Pandolfi

Dear Grazia's Family,
May you always remember the happy times, the great conversations, & the wisdom she shared with each and every one of you throughout her lifetime.
She was a dear soul who treasured her family immensely and demonstrated that love to each of you by her actions.
I will remember a wise woman who shared kind words with me as we both had experienced the loss of each of our parents and siblings. She had a great Faith in God and I believe Heaven and her departed relatives were waiting to greet her as she joined them for Eternity.
Cherish the memories! She will live on each time you speak her name.
Take care,
Cathy Lawlor

Michael and I were so saddened to hear that Grazia has made the journey to her heavenly home. I worked for many years with Grazia in the Main Children's Department, know as Boys and Girls when I started in 1973. Grazia was always generous with her warmth and her wisdom over the years. After I retired in 2010 we would run into each other as we continued in our casual positions and we always had a story or two to share about our children and grandchildren. I know that she will be greatly missed by many. Sincere condolences to Bruno, Lenny, Debbie, and all who are mourning her loss.

When I moved to Ottawa in 1978, knowing nobody and embarking on a new career as children’s librarian at the Ottawa Public Library, it was Grazia’s graciousness and kindness that really made me feel I had a place in this strange new environment. Her dignified manner of being, her love of children, dedication to her work and her gentle humor often touched me over the years. This lovely women left the world a better place. Anne Claener
