Obituary of Edwin (Ted) David Ball (Ballsy)

Passed away peacefully in hospital on Monday, August 21, 2023 in his 73rd year after a long illness with MS. Predeceased by his parents Edwin Gordon and Hilda Irene Ball and brother Gordon Stanley Ball. Former spouse of Ainsley Turner. Ted grew up in Ottawa and attended Glebe High School and Carleton University.

Ted will be greatly missed by his friends who wish to thank the staff at Laurier Manor, especially the nurses and caregivers on the second floor and the program staff who cared for and treated Ted with such respect and consideration and to the Doctors and nurses at the Montfort Hospital who treated and cared for Ted with such professionalism and compassion. A Celebration of Ted’s Life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the MS Society of Canada.
