Obituary of Marylyn Shields

Peacefully on September 5^th at the age of 91.  Beloved wife of the late James A. Shields.  Loving mother of Sandy (Joel), Frances (James) and Maureen. Cherished grandmother of Jimmy Pendrith (Kaitlyn) and Robbie Pendrith (Chloe).

Long standing member of the Carleton Golf & Yacht club where both Mom & Dad played many rounds and enjoyed social events regularly with friends. Mom was an active bridge player and curler for many years.

Many thanks to the nurses and doctors at St. Vincent’s palliative care as well as the support from all the staff within the Champlain network.

Family and friends may pay respects at Cole Funeral Services & Pinecrest Remembrance on Tuesday, September 12^th from 1:00-3:00.

A private family service to take place immediately afterwards at the grave site.

In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Marylyn can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or Alzheimer’s Society of Canada.
