Obituary of Robert Gary Findlay

Robert Garry (Gary) Findlay Suddenly on August 8, 2023.

Born in Montreal Quebec on May 30,1942 to Adelbert and Carrie (Campbell) Findlay.

Uncle to Brent (Michele) and Scott.

Grand Uncle to Jennifer (Andrew), Gregory and Heather. Uncle Gary was a proud fan of their many sporting endeavours travelling around Ontario to support them over the years.

Great Uncle to Hayden.

Growing up in Ottawa Gary attended Algonquin College studying Computer Science.

Gary went on to work at Carleton University in the Physics Dept retiring in 1998.

In his retirement Gary enjoyed Curling,Golf,Dart nights at the Legion and gardening.

Gary was a proud lifetime member of The Royal Canadian Legion Branch 593 Bells Corners.

Volunteering for many years to the Poppy Campaign a great master of coin. Also many other Legion events.

 Gary will be sadly missed by his nephew Brent and family sharing many family dinners together.

As per Gary’s wishes private interment at Pinecrest Cemetery
