Obituary of David Kelso

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of David, peacefully at the Ruddy Shenkman Hospice on Thursday, September 28, 2023, at the age of 84. Beloved husband of Shirley Kelso. Loved father of Steven (Christina), Brian, and Darren. Loving grandfather of Emma, Megan, Sheridan, and Kaitlyn. Dear brother of the late Ann Cardill, also lovingly remembered by his nieces, Cathy, Diane, Jodi & Tracey, and Nephews Todd & Trevor.  

David retired from the Federal Government after 30 years of service. He enjoyed all sports, especially golf when he was with his family and friends. He was an avid traveler who was always ready for his next destination.   

Family and friends are invited to attend a celebration of David's life on Thursday, October 5 at 2 PM at Highland Park, 2037 McGee Side Road, Carp, followed by a reception gathering. Donations in memory of David to the Hospice Care Ottawa, or the Ottawa Food Bank would be appreciated.
