I knew Pat Breedon 48 years ago, for 1 summer when I was ~16 yrs old. & lived in Lynwood Village. I've never forgotten her or Todd! I babysat Todd that summer, on her workdays, when he was ~3-4 years old. Mrs. Breedon, as I knew her, was a warm personable easy-going woman & mother, who reassured me that I would do a great job looking after Todd. Todd was a joy & Mrs B was right. I'm sure Pat gave & received love by the tons all her life.
My sincere sympathy to all who miss her and her smile.

Todd
I just wanted to say I am so sorry to hear about your Mom. This past summer, I drove by your former home/farmhouse (or at least, I think it was) several times, and it would take me back down memory lane. I remember so vividly your Mom coming to pick me up and take me to your house, so you and I could practice our piano duet. I got to spend some time with Darrin as well,, and I remember those times quite fondly. It was a lifetime ago now…hard to believe….it really doesn’t seem that so many years have gone by.
Your Mom remains frozen in time for me at that point in my life – I can still hear her voice, and see her smile.
My sincere condolences to you, and to your family at this time.

Dear Todd, Helen and Family
Thinking of you and your family as you celebrate the life of your mother Pat.
Our Cassidy family have warm and fun memories of when Pat and Don lived across the road from us on Franktown Road.
They both were welcoming and appreciated the rural lifestyle. My parents enjoyed their friendship, their casual visits and my mother missed them terribly when they moved. Pat loved having a good laugh and had a twinkle in her eye. Todd, you and your family are in my thoughts and prayers and may all of the beautiful memories you have of your mother help you to say goodbye.
Sincerely,
Cathy Cassidy- Gifford

Todd, Helen and Family: I was honoured and it was my pleasure to know Pat and Don through an Ottawa business association (OXA) several years ago. We became great friends and I never drive out Old Richmond Road, past the hill and the farm, that I don’t think of dear Darrin and your Mom and Dad. From incredible sorrow to an open door and memorable social events during those years, they were loved and respected by everyone involved. My sincerest condolences on your loss. I will remember Pat and Don always.

Todd, Helen and Family,
Please know that you are in my thoughts and prayers during this time of loss.
I have so many great memories of times spent with Aunt Pat and Uncle Don over the years. The many times the sisters came together and the singing that happened when they did will also be a favourite memory for me.
Love,
Pam (nee Horsburgh)

Dear Todd, Helen and family,
We are so sorry for your loss.
Aunt Pat will always be remembered by me with fondness and love. Her commitment to family and the enrichment of our lives will always be treasured.
When we were very young she made Christmas magical.
Aunt Pat's support of Mom and Dad through their journey with dementia was invaluable. I will always be grateful for the support she gave me with the visits and many phone calls during those days.
Thank you Aunt Pat for sharing your life well lived with us.
Godspeed on the next part of your journey.
All my love,
Susan (nee Horsburgh)
