Angelina Tucci

Obituary of Angelina Tucci

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Angelina Tucci (Peloso). She transitioned quickly on March 11, 2024. We rest knowing that she is now under God’s care and is reunited with loved ones.

Angelina was born September 16, 1938 in Pretoro, Chieti, Italy and moved to Ottawa in 1959.  Predeceased by her parents, Pasquale and Anna, her devoted husband Urbano Tucci, her brother Giuseppe, and sisters-in-law Rosa and Liberata.  She leaves behind her brothers Argentino and Vittorio, and sister-in-law Chiarina Peloso.

Angelina is survived by her three children, Costantino, Maria Georges (Joel), and Anna (Jim). Proud grandmother to Nicole, Christopher and Lauren.  She will be missed by her nieces, nephews and friends.

A determined, hard working woman who experienced many challenges in her life, and yet through it all, she modelled integrity, unwavering commitment and loving compassion to her family.   Angelina lived a simple life, she enjoyed gardening, cooking, crocheting, walking with her friends and of course spending time with those she loved.  She will be sadly missed by many.

Special thanks to the Ottawa Hospital (Home Dialysis Unit) for their wonderful care and support.

Visitation will be held at the Pinecrest Visitation Centre, 2500 Baseline Road on Thursday, March 21st from 3-5 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be held at the Pinecrest Remembrance Chapel on Friday, March 22nd at 12noon. Entombment and reception to follow.
