Obituary of Nancy June Creelman

Nancy passed away on December 28, 2022 and has been greatly missed by her husband, Bob Fowler, her children Gordon, Glenn, David and Leslie, her grand-daughter Shannon, her daughter-in-law Sandra Ellement and former husband Don Creelman.

Nancy was born and raised in Manitoba, graduating from the Winnipeg General Hospital as a registered nurse in 1959. She married and followed her profession in a number of cities, eventually settling in Ottawa where she raised her family. On retirement, she continued to enjoy a full life, travelling a number of times to Scotland to track down her family roots, taking up watercolour painting, and volunteering for many years at the Perley and Rideau Veterans’ Health Centre.

She will be forever remembered for her natural wisdom, selflessness and especially love of family.

Friends are invited to an interment ceremony at 10:45 a.m. on Saturday, May 25 at Pinecrest Cemetery, 2500 Baseline Road, followed by a memorial reception in the Pinecrest Reception Centre at 11:45 a.m.
