Obituary of Leo Hogan
After a wonderful life, Leo passed away peacefully on July 1, 2024, at age 90. Beloved husband for 69 years of Mildred. Dear father of Nancy, father-in-law of Norman, brother of Dolores Maurice (Denis) and Mike (late Patricia), and uncle of many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents, Leo and Norma Hogan, and sister, Joyceline Turner (Frank).
Leo was born and raised on the Hogan family farm in Dunrobin. He commenced his working life with the Bank of Nova Scotia in Carp and went on to a successful 32 year career with Metropolitan Life Insurance Company. Upon retirement Leo became an avid golfer at Arnprior Golf Course. He and Mildred spent their winters in Florida with friends, summers at their cottage and enjoyed many adventures while travelling in Europe.
Our heartfelt thank you to the nurses, personal support workers and staff at Timberwalk Retirement Community for their caring and kindness the past year.
