Un moment tragique et d'une grande tristesse nous rapellant que la vie est éphémère.
Ce n'est pas la fin Michelle, mais un passage où tu rejoins un autre être cher, ta chère maman Françine.
Repose en paix.

Lonny - I was so sorry to learn of the death of your daughter. I remember meeting her as a young girl when you moved to Basel in 2003 and have enjoyed reading the tributes to her and learning of her rich accomplishments since then. Lonny, finding the right words is hard. I enjoyed the times I spent with you and Michèle. Your beautiful girl struck me as smart, funny and full of promise. I wish we all had more time with her. She loved animals and they trusted her right back. My cat Blossom didn't allow just anyone to hold her. To me, that's the sign of a special spirit. My condolences to you and yours, my friend.

To Michèle's friends and family:
I am so sorry for your loss. I worked with Michèle occasionally, always on a rather tedious government admin task--but I looked a bit forward to them each time, because it meant spending a few days in the group chat with her. Even in those short bursts, her humour and energy was contagious. And even though it was a brief connection, she and you have been on my mind all week. She was a joy to be around and I will miss her.
With love,
Stephanie

Michèle, one of my closest longest term friends of over twenty years. You were my big sister growing up and I got to experience many firsts in life with you by my side cheering me on and guiding me through life. You’ve taught me to be resilient, adventurous, and open-minded. In recent years we were both living on different sides of the world following our dreams, I was so happy we still did keep in touch and you were still there cheering me on in every major life event like the true sister I always and forever looked up to. I love you so much, and I will honour you by living full and spontaneously for the rest of my life.

To Mr. McPherson and family.
I was very saddened to hear of Michele's passing, I worked with her in 2022 while I was on assignment in Coastal BC, and she made a big impact on me. She was so smart, creative, outgoing and so kind, and patient with everyone. I am truly sorry for your loss, and I hope you know the impact she had on everyone she touched. My thoughts are with you during this very difficult time.

My sincere condolences to Michele's family and friends. Michele was a leader for me during my summer with Parks Canada in the Gulf Islands. I have fond memories of taking the passenger ferry to Sidney Spit each week as Michele quizzed my colleagues and I on radio codes, shared her knowledge in environmental education, and explored the Island's beautiful landscape. I am grateful for her encouragement in taking on a leadership role myself and her advice in beginning my own career in the field.

To Mr. McPherson and Michèle's family
I was very sad to learn of Michèle's unexpected passing. While I never met her in person, I sat on many Teams calls with her - we worked in similar jobs in different provinces. Michèle always seemed so kind, outgoing and confident - she was often the first to speak up in meetings and always had something to share with colleagues. She was ready to help out and happy to share her opinions, experience and information. I will miss seeing her and her friendly personality on our calls.
I am truly sorry for your loss.
I have made a donation in memory of Michèle, to the Canadian Mental Health Association.

Dear Lonny, Gloria, and Family,
My deepest sympathies on Michèle's passing. I only had the pleasure of working with her for 7 weeks but she made a big impact on me. She was so full of wit, humour, and energy, and when I first met her, I immediately thought that this is the kind of person I love working with. Michèle is so loved within Parks Canada - people have reached out from Vancouver Island all the way to Newfoundland to share their sympathies and stories. Please know that we have you in our thoughts.
