Obituary of Anita Boyle (nee Montagano)

Sadly the family of Anita Boyle announce the passing of our beautiful matriarch on January 9th, 2025 at the remarkable age of 100 years old. She passed peacefully surrounded by the warmth of her family. Predeceased by the love of her life her husband Howard (1990). Left to mourn her loss are her children Lynda Levesque (Bill) Gregory (Diane) and her daughter in-law Darlene (late Jeffrey). A special Grandmother ‘Nanny’ to Jason, Adam, Chris, Kelly, Erin and Jennifer and an adoring great grandmother ‘Nanny/Nana’ to twelve. She will be fondly remembered by her sister June Boucher and many nieces and nephews. Daughter of the late Augustus and Sadie Montagano, predeceased by her brothers and sister the late Gordon (Kay), Earl (Norma) Montagano and Gladys (Wilf). Anita was also predeceased by Howard’s sister and brother Una Lummis (Wallace) and Douglas Boyle (Greta). Our family would like to thank Orchard View Gardens by the Mississippi in Almonte for providing a wonderful home for Mom over the past 8 years 4 months where she made many new friends and shared lots of good times with the residents and staff alike. We would also like to acknowledge and thank the doctors and nurses of the Almonte General Hospital for the excellent care they provided Mom and her primary physician Dr. Lawrie Ray.

A celebration of life will be held in the Spring.
