It is with deep sorrow that I have learned today Aug 17th, the passing of Ken. I was about to reconnect with him by phone as I have not heard from him in many months. This is how I found out that his telephone number was no longer active. That prompted me to check on the status of gctraining.com.
Ken and I regularly discussed about living the moment, our goals and aspirations and recently legacy and core values.
I am offering my most sincere condolences to the family and would like to express my gratitude for the memory of a very good friend.
Paix & sérénité!
Francis

My deepest sympathies to Ken’s family, his many friends and colleagues. I was one of three founding members of the Ottawa Thinkers Club as it was named way back in 1995. While I have not lived in Ottawa in 20 years, I kept in touch with Ken with yearly emails. He was a good man. Always kind, always curious, and always sharing information. He was keenly interested in others, their personal lives and the threads of their intellectual conversations. He was a roll model to me, a man who embraced all that the world has to offer in terms of big picture thinking and how humans interact with each other. Thank you Ken for being a friend and an inspiration that we should always pursue the rewards of creative thinking. Jean-Marc Hachey, Toronto.

A really good friend let me know how you suffered a great loss, Christopher. I am sorry for that loss (your father). You and your family have been in my prayers each evening since I learned of this heartache. I did not know your father and I met you a few times through the dinners you organized for your work family. May your father rest in peace and may you and your family find comfort in remembering all the fond memories you have of your father. (Susan M Cook Warden)

Ken had a smile that lit up rooms. A way of greeting people that made them feel good about life. And such a yen to learn. Ken will be deeply missed by everyone who knew him. Such a loss. Such an example.

I was shocked and saddened to learn of Ken's passing, far too soon. Ken and I collaborated on many projects together over 20 years ago, several of which led to his formation of GCtraining. He was a straightforward, honest and creative thinker with whom I had shared many wonderful conversations and memories.
My sympathies to all of Ken's family for your most premature loss of such a talented and unique individual. He may be gone but he will live on in all of you.
