Christl, Dorothy, Peter and family I am so sorry for your loss. Your Dad was a fine man. He took a chance on me when I was a young and green 20 something. He taught me a lot for which I am grateful . I fondly remember our Saturday morning tennis games followed up with a coffee at the old Dunkin Donuts on Merivale Rd. Rob Quinn

Nancy and I only met Walter once, at Dorothy and Steve's wedding. But Dorothy worked for me at Bearbrook Court Retirement Residence and became a colleague and also a good friend, as did Steve. With a daughter like Dorothy, Walter must have been a good person. Coincidentally, I also had the good fortune to work with Steve's mother at The Canadian Library Association Head Office -- a very nice lady. We extend our sympathies to all who knew Walter and his family.
