Since marrying Glenn’s older sister Joyce in 1957 we had many happy times with Glenn and Audrey. Living at the same time in Montreal in the 60’s, visiting them in Aruba a couple of times in the 70’s, skiing a couple times in Vancouver in the 80’s and taking a holiday together in Ireland in the 90’s.
I’ll miss Glenn as much as I know Joyce would have.

To Audrey and Family. Our sincere condolences to the family. The Devlin family has many many fond memories of Glenn who we met through mutual love of Hereford Cattle. He was always so proud of his "herd". While it was small, he definitely was a BIG presence in the Ottawa Valley Hereford Club - he was on the board of directors and was seen at many fairs and cattle sales. There were many wonderful times had with Glenn years ago at these functions - always time for a story and a joke and lots of laughs. In recent years our paths would cross at the Carp Fair and we would catch up. A wonderful kind hearted man - may all your wonderful memories bring you comfort at this time. Take Care

Glenn will be missed. I first met him at the "Table of Knowledge" at Alice's Village Cafe. He was an engaging individual and would take an interest in everyone he met, including my students from the university.
Glenn also made a personal connection with my parents when they moved into the commons. For the kindness that he and Audrey showed them, I will be forever grateful. Happy memories remain my friend.

Audrey I was sorry to read of Glenn's passing. With the pandemic these last several years I had fallen out of touch with Glenn.
I always enjoyed Glenn's many visits to our Hereford farm at White Lake, and I think he did too!
We travelled to several purebred auctions, both at Ashton and Peterborough. Glenn got so excited it was fun to watch, especially when he or I were successful bidders. Glenn knew his cattle and while I only raised polled Herefords, he often spoke of his lifelong soft spot for Shorthorns. We talked pedigrees and cattle conformation for hours on end. He got a real kick out fo seeing the new born calves each winter and spring, especially his, that I boarded.
Glenn was a very loyal and proud "Carpie". I recall his many unsung contributions to the success of Carp Fair.
In our last get together, Glenn alluded to an illness that had become quite debilitating. I hope his last years were good.
Please extend my condolences to his sons and their families. A life well lived.
