Obituary of Glenn Montgomery

Glenn Montgomery of Carp, Ontario passed away peacefully on November 22, 2021 at the age of 88. He is survived by his wife of 61 years Audrey, his sons Nelson (Joanne) and Hugh John (Lee-Ann), his siblings Mary, Hugh Bryce (Shareen) and Anne, and his grandchildren Shannon (Shaun), Isabelle, Aven, and Ronan. Glenn was predeceased by his mother Isabel (Johnston), his father Hugh John, his sister Joyce and his brother Eric. 

Glenn grew up on the family farm and worked in banking for 38 years. His career took him to Aruba and across Canada. When he retired, he enjoyed his hobby farm for many years and travelling.

The family wishes to extend many thanks to Doctor Connell at the West Carleton Family Healthcare Team, all the staff at the Carp Commons Retirement Home, the Bayshore Home Care Group, and the Bruyere Continuing Care  – Medical Assistance in Dying program.

A small service was held on November 24 for immediate family. In lieu of flowers please send donations to the Children's Hospital of Eastern Ontario (CHEO).
