Obituary of Janet Trew

Janet Trew nee Champagne passed away peacefully on May 14, 2022 at Starwood Extendicare. Predeceased by her loving husband John, her parents Hector and Sarah (Sadie) Champagne, her brother Leonard, sisters Muriel and Patricia and sister in law Inez. She leaves behind her 4 children: John, Linda Stewart (Geoff), Nancy Halman (Ian), Kristen Neil (Kevin). 8 grandchildren, Samantha, Meaghan, Courtney, Connor, Sarah, Riley, Sam and Charlie. Siblings, Roger (Pat), Eddy (Marie), Leornard’s wife Marylyn, Phil (Marlene) and Jackie (Claude) along with many nieces and nephews.

Her family wishes to thank Starwood for the amazing care and compassion shown towards their mother as well as the family.

Friends and family are invited to gather at Pinecrest Visitation Centre, 2500 Baseline Road, Ottawa, on May 19, 2022 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. A Service in Memory of Janet will take place in the Pinecrest Remembrance Chapel on Friday, May 20, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. Inurnment and reception to follow.
