Dear Julie, Sonya and Family,
I was so saddened to hear about your beloved John. I feel the depth of your grief, and wish I could say more than tell you that I know how much John dearly loved his family and how very important they were to him. It was so apparent that John was a caring, loving and devoted husband, father, and grandfather. He was so very proud of his children and grandchildren. They brought such great joy to him.
I remember John as a kind, warm, and courageous person. I especially recall the twinkle in his eye and the smile on his kind face. I can hear his quiet laugh. Bob so cherished John’s long lasting friendship. He was honoured to walk Julie down the aisle at their wedding. My late husband always talked so fondly of John and Julie and the fun times together.
John was truly an amazing human being with a heart of gold.
I try to remember that those we love don’t go away. They will walk beside us every day missed, but have left wonderful memories to lead us through. May you treasure those memories and John’s love forever.
